Rick has been a Main St. resident since 1987. He and his wife Pam have three children and five grandchildren. Although Rick grew up in Montgomery County, he has always had ties to Middletown. His mother graduated from Middletown High School in 1940. His aunt and uncle lived on Main Street in the 1950s.

He has run a national family business. Worked in the home restoration and renovation field. Works in the weatherization program making homes more energy efficient.

He has been a Middletown Commissioner for 20 years, now serving in his 5th term.

Rick served as Town Liaison on the Planning and Zoning Commission for 6 years.

Chairman of the Finance Committee for 5 years.

Chairman of the Sustainability Committee for 4 years.

Currently in his 5th year as Chairman of the Public Works Committee, and also a member of the Personnel Committee.

Has Volunteered and served on the Heritage Committee.

Volunteered and worked at every Middletown Rec Council event over the last 15 years. Bringing free events to the Middletown community, including the annual Independence Day Celebrations.

He helped plan and tilled the original Middletown Community Vegetable Garden.

His love and appreciation for Middletown is clear. Giving back, volunteering and responding to the needs of the community.

He believes maintaining and improving our infrastructure is a top priority and is key to providing a safe and healthy environment to the town residents.

He has always been passionate about limiting and controlling residential growth.

He has NEVER voted in favor of any annexation that included more residential development.

In the 20 years he has been a Commissioner, the town has flourished.

Rick is proud of his service and the towns accomplishments. He remains ready and committed to continue serving the residents of Middletown.

He has always respected and valued the towns character, historic charm and family friendly community.

Protecting and preserving those qualities will always be a priority when making decisions moving forward.
