 When is the Municipal Center open?

Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm, except for the following holidays and weather emergencies: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

 How do I find my polling place?

If you are unsure of your precinct location, please contact the Frederick County Election Board at 301-600-8683.

 Where do I apply for a dog or cat license?

You can purchase dog and cat licenses at the Municipal Center. Licenses are good for 1, 2 or 3 years depending on when your pet rabies vaccination expires.  Each time your dog or cat needs a rabies shot you must renew your license. 

 

 How do I pay my water bill?

Bills are payable at:

*BB&T Middletown Branch Office

*Via Mail 

*Drop Box located by the front & back door of Municipal Center.

 When do the Burgess and Commissioners meet?

The Burgess and Commissioners meet:

  • The first Thursday of every month for their workshop meeting at 7:00 p.m. 
  • The second Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m.
  • The fourth Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m.

  All meetings are open to the public.

 When does the Planning Commission meet?

The Planning Commission meets the third Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m.

The Planning Commission holds their workshops on the Wednesday prior to the 3rd Monday of the month at 7:00pm.

 When is recycling picked up?

Recycling services are provided through the Frederick County Department of Recycling. Middletown Recycling is currently picked up on Wednesday.  If you need to obtain a recycling bin you must contact Frederick County Recycling at 301-600-2960. 

 When is the Food Bank open?

The Food Bank is located at 301 W. Main Street and is open on Wednesdays from 1-3 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

 When is trash picked-up?

Trash is picked-up every Wednesday.

 Where can I get the brown bio-degradable bags?

Town residents can pick-up the brown bio-degradable bags at the Municipal Center during regular business hours (Monday - Friday 8AM - 4PM) and on any meeting night.

Yard Waste Pick-Up is on Tuesdays, April 2nd through December 31st, 2024.

Regular monthly meeting nights are the 1st Thursday, 2nd Monday, 3rd Monday and 4th Monday of every month between 7-9 pm.  The front door opens at 6:30pm.  You are welcome to stop in and pick up your brown bags at that time as well.
