Curbside Recycling
Frederick County Recycling picks-up recyclables every other Wednesday. A County-issued recycling container is required for participation. Three cart sizes are available. You may call 301.600.2960 to request a cart. Carts need to be at curbside by 6AM. on collection day.
What can I recycle?

Plastic bottles

Boxboard - cereal/soda boxes, etc., along with corrugated cardboard.

Newsprint/Mixed Paper - newspaper, junk mail, writing/computer paper, magazines, envelopes, catalogs under 1 inch and phonebooks.

Glass Bottles & Jars - food/beverage jars and bottles (all colors)

Aluminum/Steel - food/beverage cans, foil and pie plates.

- Recycling Pick Up Day for Middletown Town Residents is every other Wednesday.
Holidays: There is NO collection on the following days: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas.
Recycling containers are provided to the property owners by Frederick County and not by the Town. To order bins, or if you have questions with recycling, please contact Frederick County Recycling at 301-600-2960.
