NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Ordinance 24-12-01
Notice is hereby given that the Middletown Burgess and Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, January 2, 2025, beginning at the hour of 7:00 PM., at the Middletown Municipal Center, 31 West Main Street, Middletown, MD 21769 for the proposed changes to the Zoning Definitions, Sections 17.04.030, proposed changes to the Residential Districts 17.16.010 through 17.16.030, proposed changes to the Town Commercial District 17.20.010, and the addition of an ordinance for the Licensing and Inspection of Rental Dwellings 17.43.
The proposed changes include additional definitions relating to licensing and inspection of rental dwellings, a definition of inoperable vehicles, proposed changes to districts related to licensing and inspection of rental dwellings, and adding an ordinance for the licensing and inspection of rental dwellings. All citizens wishing to be heard will be recognized at this hearing. Any person desiring a stenographic transcript shall be responsible for supplying a competent stenographer.
