Town Board - Public Hearing - Ordinance 25-02-01 - CDA LGIFP

The Burgess & Commissioners of Middletown, Maryland, will hold a public hearing to consider Ordinance No. 25-02-01 authorizing an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $2,500,000.00 of public debt (the “Bonds”) to be issued under the State of Maryland’s Local Government Infrastructure Financing Program, pursuant to the authority of Sections 4-101 through 4-255 of the Housing and Community Development Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, as amended.  The purpose of this debt is to (i) finance or refinance the costs of the Middletown Road & Utility Improvements Project and the Middletown Stream Restoration Project, (ii) to fund reserves and (iii) to pay the costs of issuance of the Bonds.
