The Frederick County Department of Solid Waste Management will sponsor a Residential Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Event Saturday May 3rd, 2025 from 8am until 12pm at in the upper level parking lot of Keys Stadium, 21 Stadium Drive, Frederick, MD 21703.

This service is provided to residents of Frederick County at no charge. 

Items not accepted at this event include: paint, medicines and biomedical waste, firearms, ammunition, explosives, fire extinguishers, freon tanks and radioactive materials. For information on proper disposal of these items please visit the DSWM website at https://frederickcountymd.gov/3958/Household-Hazardous-Wastes.  Also, items accepted year round for recycling or regular disposal at the DSWM facilities, including alkaline and lead-acid batteries, motor oil, antifreeze, tires, solidified paint, household trash or recyclables, will not be collected at this special event.
