Middletown Sustainability Committee Green Talks

Saturday, October 19th at 1:00pm - Green Schools - Carey Murphy, winner of a 2023 Frederick County Sustainability Award, believes Green Schools foster environmental stewardship, encourage sustainability, increase awareness of our relationship with the environment and foster environmental literacy. 

Saturday, November 16th at 1:00pm -  Changing Face of Frederick County Agriculture - Katie Stevens, the Director of the Frederick County Office of Agriculture will discuss how her office is dedicated to preserving farmland through conservation easements, supporting agricultural operations with business support and technical assistance and an eye on climate change.
