Main Street Middletown invites you to participate in

Middletown's 19th Annual Scarecrow Contest - October 17th, 2026

All Middletown residents, organizations and businesses are invited to use their creativity, old clothing and art supplies to transform straw, wood and burlap into a whole host of characters!

This contest is open to 21769 Families, Individuals, Businesses and Organizations.

Monday, September 28th, 2026 is when you can pick up your kit at Town Hall. There is a limited amount available and they are first come, first serve. 

Bring your finished Scarecrow up to Town Hall no later than Friday, October 16th, 2026, at 5:30pm.  We can’t wait to see what you all dream up for 2026! 

We invite you to arrive on Saturday the 17th from Noon - 4pm to stroll through the downtown and vote on your favorites. 

Scarecrows stay up until Halloween to keep the ghosts and goblins at bay!
