The Middletown Arts & Activities Council invites you to participate in

Middletown's 17th Annual Scarecrow Contest - October 19th, 2024

All Middletown residents, organizations and businesses are invited to use their creativity, old clothing and art supplies to transform straw, wood and burlap into a whole host of characters!

To participate in this uniquely Middletown event, come visit our Welcome Center at 19 West Main Street on Monday, September 30th to pick up your Scarecrow Kit. We have 60 kits – first come, first served.

Bring your finished Scarecrow up to Town Hall no later than Friday, October 18th, 2024, at 5:30pm.   We can’t wait to see what you all dream up for 2024! 

We invite you to arrive at 2pm on Saturday the 19th to stroll through the downtown and vote on your favorites.  In addition, we will have snacks, music, and other Halloween-themed treats. 

Scarecrows stay up until Halloween to keep the ghosts and goblins at bay!
