Middletown Meter Replacement Scheduler

Beginning on July 15th, 2024, Middletown’s Utilities Department will begin installation of new water metering hardware at our service addresses as part of a planned systemwide replacement and upgrade to our existing utility meter inventory.   

Letters have been sent to identified properties because town utility billing records indicate their water meter is due for replacement.  Our Utilities Department staff will need access to the interior of the home or business, where the utility services are located.  Replacing the meter and meter components will take approximately 20-30 minutes and will be at no cost to the property owner.

Please call Town Hall and schedule an appointment with our Administrative Staff, at 301-371-6171, within fifteen (15) days of receipt of this letter.  For your convenience, online scheduling is also available on the Town’s website, www.middletown.md.us.  There are only five (5) appointments per day available every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, between 9AM and 1PM. 

Appointments are scheduled on a first come first served basis.
